Carrefour Bank is a financial institution linked to the Carrefour Group, one of the largest retail chains in the world. In Brazil, Carrefour Bank offers financial products and services primarily designed to facilitate purchases and transactions for customers in the chain's stores, but also with reach in other establishments.

Scenario
As soon as I started working at Banco Carrefour, the team shared a realistic history in which the Design System theme was something very controversial in the company. The reason? It had already been prioritized by previous teams, implemented and failed in its adoption. In other words, a lot of time and money was invested in a project that did not bring results and failed.
The teams were reactive and without great expectations regarding the initiative because the project generated more rework and delays than agility. As a result, the product teams continued to develop inconsistent projects without minimum alignment. This was the scenario I arrived in and the challenge was to once again evangelize the importance of DS in the midst of this.
